breakout

Badger Breakout is the result of lab work for the 2006 interactive entertainment systems course (working again with Alex Hayton).

Built using OpenGL, SDL, SDL_mixer and SDL_net, the aim of the game is to use the mouse to move the bat to keep the ball bouncing in order to destroy all the blocks. The code is written in C++ and compiles under both windows and linux. We're still working on the final touches at the moment, but its mostly there.

Now that the final version is handed in, source code for everyone. To reduce my bandwidth the source package only contains the source, you will need to download the windows build to get hold of the audio files, textures and models.

BUG: D'oh, first bug report. If you have an outgoing firewall make sure you give the exe permission before running!)
